Dustin Mendenhall has been working in the industry since 2012. He bring a trove of knowledge to is role of Financial Advisor at Topel Forman Wealth Management. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, he earned his degree from Indiana University, where he developed an early appreciation for the value of education and the long-term impact of thoughtful financial planning.
Dustin is driven by a genuine passion for helping people make confident financial decisions. He finds the greatest fulfillment in learning about clients’ major life moments—whether celebrations or challenges—and serving as a steady, trusted advisor through each stage. His approach emphasizes that financial planning should guide investment strategy, with total return and tax efficiency at the forefront.
Over the course of his career, Dustin has worked in both large and boutique firm environments, giving him a broad perspective on client service and advisory excellence. He began his career introducing himself door-to-door in his community—experience that shaped his commitment to personal connection and long-lasting relationships. Dustin holds the Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 registration through LPL Financial and is certified in Life and Health insurance. His areas of focus include tax-advantaged planning, estate planning, and M&A financial planning. He has been recognized multiple times as a top advisor in previous firms.

Outside of work, Dustin enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and staying active in various sports. He and his wife live in Indianapolis with their four children and their two dogs. A dedicated community member, he spent nine years coaching travel baseball and continues to support local youth programs. As a proud IU alumnus, he never misses a chance to cheer on the Hoosiers. Dustin is also on the advancement committee for Cathedral High School in Indianapolis.
